Quality control & pre-loading inspection

We support buyers and suppliers through goods inspections against agreed criteria. The inspection scope, sampling approach and limits are defined for each shipment.

Scope of support

Support is tailored to the agreed scope.

  • Reviewing species, grade and visual characteristics.
  • Checking dimensions, moisture content and finish using the agreed method.
  • Reviewing labelling, packaging and loading readiness.
  • Documenting observed deviations and communicating with partners.

What you receive

Deliverables and acceptance criteria are agreed at the start.

  • A record of the inspected sample and agreed scope.
  • Photographic documentation and a list of observed deviations.
  • A basis for deciding on the next steps before shipment.

An agreed inspection scope

Shipment inspection follows agreed sampling. The report describes the inspected goods and observed condition; it is neither a guarantee for every item nor an accredited laboratory result. Where testing is needed, the involvement of an appropriate laboratory is agreed in advance.

A transparent cooperation model

A consulting fee, brokerage commission or an agreed combination. We clarify the model, the paying party and any potential conflicts of interest in advance. Fees depend on the scope and agreement.
