What the industry review says

In its June 2026 release, the European Parquet Federation (FEP) describes market stabilisation after a difficult period, with an uneven recovery and still-fragile demand. This is an industry context, rather than a forecast for an individual manufacturer or specific market.

Our perspective: look at your own product

For a business decision, understanding the specific combination of product, buyer and production process matters more than relying on the overall market trend alone. Solid parquet, engineered products and lamellas do not necessarily share the same procurement profile or timing.

Review which specifications you can deliver consistently, where you have a raw-material advantage and which processing level suits your capacity. Then connect those capabilities with a clear buyer profile.

For buyers: compare the complete offer

A comparable offer begins with an agreed specification. Include grade, actual dimensions, finish, quantity, packaging, delivery terms and inspection responsibilities in the commercial assessment. Differences absent from the unit price may become apparent only during processing or after receipt.

For manufacturers: prepare a realistic offer

A clearly defined product and feasible supply schedule are preferable to a broad range without a verified production plan. Prepare a technical sheet, sample and list of commercial terms. Our advice is to connect market discussions with the people who understand plant capacity and constraints.

This approach supports a considered start: a shared specification, trial order and a fit review before a larger commitment.
